A comprehensive digital transformation plan for IMM

After a year of strategic consultancy from Propelland (a strategic design studio associated with Genetsis Group), we have developed a two-year plan that will transform the business approach of the Texan company IMM (Intelligent Mexican Marketing), based in Dallas (USA).

The American company, which exclusively distributes the main snack & grocery brands, currently distributes to more than 9,000 points of sale and aims to increase its network, its turnover and its offer through an in-depth digital transformation plan. This initiative will help to shift its business model towards intelligence services based on data and market knowledge.

To this end, it will direct efforts along two lines of work:

  • The transformation of the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning, or software for automated management of all business activities), with the aim of improving efficiency in the B2B model. For this activity we worked with our partner Befree, specialist in SAP S4/HANA implementations.
  • In parallel, it will launch a relationship strategy in different stages of development to address the B2C end-consumer market.

In this way, the company will be able to control the Sell In and Sell Out of products at the point of sale and increase knowledge of the transactions. This will make it possible to improve and optimise processes and generate new products and services based on data analysis.
